While I’m not a full makeup kind of girl, I do like a little makeup. It makes me feel more put together and makes me feel better about myself. Here is the difference between the two coconut oils listed above. The first one is virgin coconut oil and the second is fractionated. Virgin is unrefined so it will have slightly more skin benefits, however, it is more likely to clog pores, it has a shinier finish when applied to skin, and does not stay good as long as fractionated coconut oil does.
Fractionated coconut oil is refined so while it has some vitamins and skin benefits, it’s not as good as virgin coconut oil. However, fractioned coconut oil is less likely to clog pores, is less skiny on skin, and can have a shelf life of a couple years if stored properly.
I personally wouldn’t use virgin coconut oil all over my face since it can clog pores, but I would use it for an oil eye makeup remover. Fractionated coconut oil, I would use it for eye makeup remover, but for my skin, I would do a patch test first to see how pore clogging it would be for me.
